I really enjoy driving taxi, a job I never thought would be something I would want to do. But I like meeting people, and enjoy driving. I was raised here, and the town only has 19,000 so it isn't all that big. However things has changed in the last 15 yrs. so some of the newer things I wasn't familiar with that I am now. Even some of the older neighborhoods I'm not familiar, as I never had any reason to go there, so I am learning more and more. I do have a lot of drunks, esp. when I drive at night; but I'm a recovering drunk, so therefore, I can't be upset with people that act like I used to act. I have 10 yrs. of sobriety, and am glad I'm not living that kind of life any more, however at times I do miss the FUN! I guess that is why AA teaches us we are powerless, but today, I am not, and I do have a choice.
